Portable Roller is a powerful, sy-to-use and low-cost toolset for / data recovery. Roller supports industry-standard ISO 9660 file system, including 's extensions for long file names support, so-called Joliet extensions. Looks for the lost tracks (sessions) every time when you insert a new disc into the drive. Supports SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD) layer as alternative method under 2000/XP/2003/Vista. What's new in the version 9?

Added an ability to crte and manage an own file. ftures:
- allows to use many different drives on the different computers to rd the bad disc (, or Blu-ray one), adding the data that ch new drive can rd.
- skips the sectors that have been successfully rd before.
- extremely incrses a rding speed if you manage your disc many times.
- works with audio and mixed (data + audio) s too.
Added an ability to get a few copies of Recover option, running Roller from the Command Line with "/rdv" and "/drive letter" parameters. For example, Roller.exe /rdv /d . That allows to work with a several drives simultaneously and speed up the data recovery if you have a lot of problem - discs.
The old Test Disc option updated. Added expected support of UDF discs.
Disc properties dialog updated:
- Added Media tab with an additional info for advanced users.
- fixed a bug for write-once UDF disc (-R, -R, +R, +R DL, -R DL, BD-R) when a track was marked as UDF under TOC Tracks tab but UDF file system was not placed on this track.
File properties dialog updated. Added UDF Records tab with an additional info for advanced users.
File Open and File Save dialogs support new "Vista style" under Vista or 7. You can find these dialogs in the different options of Roller. For example in Split , Test Disc, Resume, Append and many others.
Fixed an old bug when some dialogs accidently hid their components under Vista/7.
Support of 95/98/ME/NT4 is officially canceled. If you're registered user and still need a version of Roller that supports an old , plse contact our Support Dept.

What's new in the version 9.40

This is the current version of Roller. Scan UDF Disc option updated. Improved methods to restore an original directory tree on re-writable (-RW, +RW, -RAM) UDF discs. Fixed the bug when rding UDF blu-ray discs crted by 7. If you use the 7 built-in to backup a valuable data, this is definitely a good rson to upgrade Roller to the latest version now. Forced scan updated. Added support of s and Blu-ray discs crted by 7 UDF . Recover updated. Fixed bug while identifying the large data (4 GB+).
