Micromax designed individually, depending on the ftures present in the phone brought. The versions of the PC suite depend entirely on what egory the phone belongs to, be it Smartphone, QWERTY, Marathon battery, GSM and/or MA and many more. Some PC suitesoftare preloaded in the phone itself and are executed as soon as the phone is connected to PC. However,there are

In eral, the interface ofMicromax’s PC suite is quite similar to other Indian phone companies as Intex, Spice,GPhone, etc. options as Phonebook, s, Messages, Settings, etc. are present and serve their individual purposes.On clicking the Phone book option, we encounter3 folders; namely Handset, PC folder and trash can. One can crte, edit and delete contacts via this option. It also allows for saving the contact details in the PC for safekeeping.
In the message folder, the Handset folder contains Inbox and Outbox options; PC folder has Inbox, Outbox and Draft, and lastly there is the trash can. Opening a message, viewing message history and forwarding or composing messages can be done through this option.
The settings folder helps the user to determine phone/PC connection properties and crte additional options. The option helps the user to select wallpaper for the handset from the computer via the selection tools. Melody helps the user to selecta MIDIaudio file from the system, preview it and then set it up as the currentringtone.
The file manager present helps in the transfer of files from the PC to the phone. It also containsan installJAVA option that help installing phone appliions via PC.All in all, there is nothing very wonderful in Micromax PC suite. Yet, it is a very versatile tool for managing the content and crte backups.
